There's a subtle presence at the edge of my mind, then before I can even catch my breath, it's like there is an invisible rubber band tugging at me back towards my body far below me. In a matter of seconds, I'm pulled back at an insane speed. The adrenaline rush I feel is intense and unlike anything I've ever experienced before and when my eyes finally pop open, I'm gasping for breath. It takes me a moment to realize that I'm back on my two feet again and my body feels as though I've just had a few too many drinks. Blinking rapidly I try to regain some awareness when I notice Edward standing just a few feet away from me, staring at me as though he's struggling not to touch me. I become even more confused when I see Aro hovering behind him, beaming at my mate as though he's just accomplished something remarkable. "Well done, Edward, I told you blocking Bella wouldn't be a difficulty for you. The blood bond really makes it even a little too easy."
