“One last time,” I muttered to myself while staring at the phone in my hand. “I will try again for the last time,” I said softly. Well, that was the eight time I was saying that to myself, but who was I kidding? I couldn’t stop calling Laura, I wouldn’t be able to do anything else if I choose to stop trying. It was night already and she still hadn’t answered my calls or returned any of them. Of course I was worried and pissed at the same time, why is she mad over something so small?
