I stood there and watched Laura leave sadly, and then Grandma followed after shooting me a suspicious glance. I wanted to go after Laura but I knew she wasn't in a mood to talk, she needed time to feel better and moreover Grandma would be mad if I went after Laura, leaving her behind.
