Chapter 77 A new mansion request

I waited patiently till father was halfway through his magazine; this was usually the best time to make a request of him because he would be in a hurry to get back to reading and so he wouldn't want to argue for long. He would either give a quick yes or a no, and I hoped for the first. Father was seated in the sitting room, reading his magazine; it was evening and he had returned from work an hour earlier. As usual he came to read the latest magazines after having his meal; he always eats his dinner early and goes to bed before the rest of the family, except it is movie night.
