Chapter 56 Reminiscing On Old Times With Joanna

I watched Laura grab a bottle of champagne if my eyes weren't deceiving me, and then she walked to a table not too far from us but in front. I was able to see her from where I sat but she wasn't seeing me because I was behind and I guess that was the whole point of it; she didn't want to see Joanna and I. Well, I was honestly disappointed, I had expected something different. I was actually excited when we walked in and I thought she would share the same table with us; that should have saved me from this awkward date with Joanna but now not only was I stuck with Joanna but I also had to worry about Laura.
