Chapter 4 Crippled Ugly Woman Withdrawn From Marriage
"Umm..." Elena Schultz widened her eyes, with a mixture of drunkenness and bewilderment in her eyes, looking vivid and lovely.
With a "thud", the man fell off the wheelchair but still didn't part from the girl's lips.
The two were lying on the white and soft carpet, embracing and kissing, in an extremely ambiguous posture.
Elena Schultz felt that her breath was being gradually taken away. A strange, pure male hormonal scent filled her nostrils, domineering yet refreshing.
She wanted to say something, but as soon as she opened her mouth, the man pressed further, advancing like an army seizing territory. She was completely defeated and fell deeply into the moment.
The girl's long eyelashes fluttered slightly. She raised her hand and tried to push him away, but the man grabbed her wrist and easily controlled her.
She felt like a fish on a chopping block, at the mercy of others, with no ability to fight back.
As her breath was being taken away, her already uncomfortable stomach churned even more violently. Elena Schultz felt that she could hardly hold on any longer and struggled even more forcefully.
Leonard DeLuca hugged her and turned over, making her lie on top of him. He continued to kiss her for a while. When he saw that she was really uncomfortable, he reluctantly released her.
The next second, with a "wow", the girl vomited all over him.
Leonard DeLuca's eyes darkened. "Elena Schultz!"
Elena Schultz felt much better after vomiting. She turned over and lay down, muttering to herself, "Great, I'm finally alive again."
Unable to resist the overwhelming drowsiness, she closed her eyes and fell asleep directly.
"Elena Schultz, wake up. Don't fall asleep!"
The girl on the ground remained motionless.
Leonard DeLuca pinched the bridge of his nose, picked her up from the ground, and placed her on the sofa.
As soon as the man closed the door and left, Elena Schultz suddenly opened her eyes and vomited into the trash can.
There was mineral water beside her. She drank two bottles, which finally dissipated the effects of the alcohol.
Elena Schultz quietly walked out of the wine cellar, went out along the stairs at the other end of the corridor, and came to the back garden.
It was already dark, and there was no one guarding the garden. Elena Schultz tiptoed away.
But before she could get out of the garden, the maid's exclamation came from behind, "Miss Elena, where are you going!"
Elena Schultz took to her heels and ran. "Help! Miss Elena is running away!"
Elena Schultz ran forward while looking back. Several bodyguards chased after her.
Elena Schultz ran to the seaside. With a determined heart and eyes closed, she jumped into the sea with a "splash".
"Go and inform Mr. Leonard immediately. Miss Elena has jumped into the sea!"
...
Elena Schultz used all her strength to swim to the shore. Without taking a rest, she rushed to the hotel where she was supposed to be engaged to Caleb Johnson.
In the banquet hall that was like a sea of flowers, there were no guests. Only a man and a woman were passionately embracing and kissing, the scene being extremely beautiful.
Elena Schultz's already broken heart was torn open again, and the piercing pain made her feel breathless.
"Slap!"
Elena Schultz stepped forward. Before the two could react, she raised her hand and slapped Sofia Schultz.
"Sofia Schultz, have you no shame?"
Sofia Schultz covered her face, looking like a delicate little white flower on the verge of tears.
"Elena, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..."
"You had your legs wrapped around his waist just now, and you say you didn't mean to?" Elena Schultz was so angry that she trembled. "Are you born promiscuous? Why do you have to snatch everything?"
"It's not her fault." Caleb Johnson protected Sofia Schultz in his arms. "Elena, it was me who took the initiative. If you want to hit someone, hit me."
"Slap! Slap!"
Elena Schultz slapped him twice in return.
"Do you think you can get away with being a scumbag so easily?"
Caleb Johnson took a deep breath, as if making a certain decision, and said, "Elena, things have come to this. There should be a conclusion between us. I'm sorry. I tried very hard to fall in love with you, but I just couldn't do it."
With the ringing in her ears, Elena Schultz heard Caleb Johnson's gentle voice as always, "I can't deceive my own heart. The person I love has always been Sofia."
"Always?" Elena Schultz looked at the gentle and refined man in front of her in disbelief. "So you two have been secretly together for a long time? Then why did you still date me and ask me to get engaged to you?"
She had always held a glimmer of hope for Caleb Johnson, but now, that only hope had turned into a sharp knife that mercilessly stabbed into her chest. "It was my grandfather who forced me." Caleb Johnson's face tightened, and a hint of hatred flashed in his eyes. "He has been threatening me, saying that if I don't marry you, he won't let me be the heir of the Johnson Group."
Elena Schultz's mind went blank. "So you being with me and being nice to me were all acts! So as soon as Grandpa Johnson died and you became the heir, you couldn't wait to turn against me, right?"
"That's right. I'm fed up with him forcing me to marry you every day." Caleb Johnson's expression gradually turned cold. "Look at you now. How could I marry a lame and ugly woman as the young mistress of the Johnson family?"
"Lame and ugly?" Elena Schultz wanted to maintain her last bit of dignity, but when she heard these four words, tears couldn't help streaming down her face. "Caleb Johnson, don't forget how I became like this."
"I know you've sacrificed a lot for me. You became lame and got your face disfigured when you saved me that year. Logically, I should take responsibility for you and marry you. But a lifetime is too long, and I want to be with the person I love."
Elena Schultz laughed directly, a bitter and desolate laugh. "Caleb Johnson, over all these years, I gave you my heart and was even willing to give my life for you. But what I got in return was your deception and betrayal from beginning to end. How blind was I to have fallen for you!"
"Elena, I gave you a chance. But you didn't show up at the engagement banquet tonight. Doesn't that mean there's no fate between us?"
"That's because..."
"Ah!" Just as Elena Schultz was about to speak, Sofia Schultz suddenly exclaimed, "Elena, what's on your neck?"
Caleb Johnson took a closer look. There were obvious hickey marks all over Elena Schultz's fair and beautiful swan-like neck and even on her shoulders!
Caleb Johnson realized something. Without asking any questions, he tore off her clothes that hadn't completely dried yet. There were hickey marks not only on her neck but also on her shoulders!
"Elena Schultz, how dare you accuse me of betrayal? Tell me! Which man have you been fooling around with!"
Elena Schultz pushed him away and adjusted her clothes. "It's none of your business!"
Caleb Johnson flew into a rage. "Elena Schultz, you're so shameless!"
"Mr. Johnson, you're being modest. When it comes to shamelessness, no one can rival the two of you!"
Caleb Johnson looked at her with disgust, took out a check from his pocket, and threw it at Elena Schultz. "This is the reward for you saving me that year. From now on, we're even."
Elena Schultz looked down at the check that landed on the ground and sneered, "Five million. Mr. Johnson is really generous. But you'd better keep this money for yourself, because what you owe me can't be repaid with money. One day, I'll make you pay for everything you've done today!"
Elena Schultz, like a defeated peacock that refused to admit defeat, turned around proudly and left.
As soon as she walked out of the hotel, two men who looked like bodyguards surrounded her. "Miss Elena, Mr. Leonard requests your presence."
