Chapter 2 Wheelchair Man Forced Marriage
Elena Schultz: "......"
"Sir, are you blind? Can't you see that I'm lame?"
"I'm disabled and you're lame. We're a perfect match made in heaven."
Elena Schultz: "......"
Is there something seriously wrong with this man's brain?
Elena Schultz brushed aside the hair on her left cheek, revealing a hideous and ugly scar on it. "See? I'm very ugly. We're not suitable for each other."
"You're ugly and I'm handsome. It's just the right complement."
Elena Schultz: "......"
The corners of Elena Schultz's mouth twitched. Her gaze shifted downward, and she secretly glanced at a place she shouldn't have. She murmured softly, "There's nothing wrong with that aspect either. Why is he willing to marry someone like me?"
Leonard DeLuca's eyes darkened, and a faint smile appeared on his devilishly handsome face. "It seems that I really did satisfy my wife last night."
Elena Schultz: "......"
"Don't call me that randomly. Who's your wife?" Elena Schultz didn't want to waste words with him. "I still have something to do. I'm leaving now. Let's go our separate ways and never see each other again."
Leonard DeLuca instinctively reached out and grabbed her wrist. The next second, a sharp pain shot through his neck, and he fainted.
Elena Schultz flexed her wrist and sneered coldly, "Want to marry me? In your next life!"
Elena Schultz climbed out of the second-floor window, trying to sneak away, only to find that... she was on a small island!
How was she supposed to escape?
While she was still in a daze, she heard an exclamation, "Lord DeLuca, what's wrong with you? Come quickly! Lord DeLuca has fainted!"
Elena Schultz took off running.
She ran to the beach. The capital city was right in front of her, about two kilometers away, but the only way to get there was by boat.
There were several speedboats parked by the beach, but they were guarded, and she didn't know how to drive a speedboat.
Just as she was wondering what to do, there were sudden footsteps behind her. Several bodyguards rushed over. "Miss Schultz, please come back with us."
Elena Schultz was carried back to the room. Another doctor was examining Leonard DeLuca's body.
Sean Flynn looked anxious. "How is Lord DeLuca?"
"He was hit on the back of the neck and knocked out. The person who did it really used a lot of force."
Elena Schultz: "......"
Sean Flynn looked at Elena Schultz with an expression that said, "You're dead meat." "Take her down and keep a close eye on her first. We'll deal with her after Lord DeLuca wakes up."
"Yes, sir."
Outnumbered, Elena Schultz decided to give up for now and conserve her strength.
The man last night had been too demanding, over and over again. She was lucky to have survived and not died in that coffin.
Elena Schultz lay down on the bed and fell asleep instantly from exhaustion.
I don't know how much time had passed. In a daze, she felt a chill in a certain place. She suddenly opened her eyes and saw that her legs were spread apart, and the man in the wheelchair was attentively applying medicine to her!
Elena Schultz's face instantly turned red up to the roots of her ears. She quickly pulled the quilt to cover herself. "Are you a pervert?"
"You're injured. I'm just applying some medicine," the man explained calmly.
"Shut up!" Elena Schultz's face became even redder. "I don't need you to apply the medicine!"
Leonard DeLuca calmly put away the ointment. "You knocked me out, and I haven't settled the score with you yet, but you're the one throwing a tantrum."
Elena Schultz: "......"
The atmosphere suddenly turned dangerous.
Her intuition told her that the man in front of her was not someone to be trifled with!
"At most... I'll apologize to you." Elena Schultz knew when to be flexible and immediately admitted defeat. She leaned her head forward. "Go ahead."
"What are you doing?"
"Let you hit me back."
Leonard DeLuca couldn't help but reach out and rub the top of her head. "Don't worry. I don't have a tendency towards domestic violence."
Elena Schultz: "......"
What domestic violence?
Why did this cruel word sound somehow ambiguous when it came out of his mouth?
And his tone was somehow a bit gentle.
It had to be said that this man was good-looking, and his voice was her favorite deep voice. His voice just now was so beautiful that it almost made her ears "pregnant"!
But she absolutely would not be bewitched!
Elena Schultz gathered her thoughts and said seriously, "Sir, just because I'm not going to hold you accountable for what happened last night doesn't mean you can push your luck and keep me imprisoned here. You must send me back right now, or don't blame me for being rude to you!"
"I'm warning you. I have a fiancé, and he's very powerful!"
Leonard DeLuca's face instantly turned cold. "You're already mine. From now on, you'd better break off all ties with your so-called fiancé. Otherwise, Don't blame me for being you."
Elena Schultz was taken aback. The man in front of her, although in a wheelchair, had an extremely powerful aura.
He wasn't even angry, yet it made her shiver with fear.
She wasn't inexperienced, but this was the first time she had been intimidated by someone's aura.
How unlucky she was! Why did she have to run into such a ruthless person!
Elena Schultz gathered her thoughts and said, "Sir, I really do have a fiancé, and I'm getting engaged to him the day after tomorrow. Please let me go."
"I said, you're already mine. My woman can't marry someone else."
"Why don't you understand? I have a fiancé, and I'm about to get engaged to him. What happened between us was just an accident. I'm asking you to forget about it!"
Leonard DeLuca grabbed her wrist and with a force, pulled her closer to him.
They were only a fist's width apart, and Elena Schultz could clearly see her own face reflected in the man's eyes.
"I'll say this one last time," Leonard DeLuca declared word by word. "You're mine. If you're going to get married, you can only marry me. Do you understand?" Elena Schultz shuddered in fear and looked at him in horror.
Leonard DeLuca released her and maneuvered his wheelchair away.
Elena Schultz was so angry that her stomach cramped. She weakly lay on the bed and wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes.
Her phone wasn't with her, and she couldn't even make a call. She didn't know what kind of trouble Sofia Schultz was causing outside, and Caleb Johnson must be worried sick about not being able to find her!
There was a sudden knock on the door. Elena Schultz ignored it, but the door was quickly pushed open.
"Miss Schultz," the maid's voice came. "Lord DeLuca asked me to bring you something to eat."
Elena Schultz quickly sat up. "Can you lend me your phone?"
"Sorry, I don't have a phone with me."
"How is that possible? Who doesn't have a phone these days?"
"It's true. If you don't believe me, you can search me."
Elena Schultz suddenly realized something. "Did that Lord DeLuca not allow you to bring a phone? It's illegal for him to imprison me, and you're an accomplice!"
"Miss Schultz, you'd better eat quickly. I'll go out now." The maid put down the tray and ran away.
Elena Schultz was furious, but the more this happened, the more she had to stay calm and find a way to escape.
The most urgent thing now was to fill her stomach.
She hadn't eaten for a whole day and night, from last night until now, and she was already starving.
Elena Schultz got out of bed with her tired body and went to the table to eat.
The maid had prepared a lot of food, all light and nourishing.
After eating her fill, Elena Schultz opened the window and took a look. That damn man was really ruthless. He even had bodyguards guarding the beach at night!
She was too tired to escape now. She could only rest first and think of a way to leave after she had recovered her strength.
......
The next morning.
Elena Schultz slowly woke up.
When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was a stunningly handsome face.
"Ah!" Elena Schultz exclaimed and suddenly sat up. She nervously pulled the quilt to wrap herself up. "Are you trying to scare me to death?"
Leonard DeLuca ordered, "Get up."
"Why?"
"Let's go to the Civil Affairs Bureau and get married."
