Chapter 20 The Journal

Isabella tossed and turned in bed, thinking about her latest discovery. As far as she was concerned, she needed to get to the bottom of what was in that journal. Her guilty conscience didn’t allow her to push further earlier, but thinking about it now, she didn’t owe Mason shit. She would pay him back in the same currency that he had paid her. But, that would have to start with her not giving two fucks about him or his feelings. She slept off, with different thoughts swirling around her mind.
