Sienna sat in the shadows, her fingers gripping the edge of the wooden bench beneath her. Her heart pounded as the words of Alpha Roven and Ulrich replayed in her mind. She had always wanted to be at the top, to be the woman standing beside Dane, but now, she realized that as long as his mother was alive, that dream would never become reality. Raya would never accept her.
