Chapter 39 Seren

I had barely slept, but I think that had been more excitement than anything. Today was my birthday. I knew that my wolf could make her appearance at any time. And I wanted to be ready… I had heard many tales of friends being woken in the early hours with their wolves desperate to be allowed out to shift. And, a small part of me had hoped that may be the case for me too, but frustratingly, there had been nothing. I tossed and I turned, hoping and waiting, but there was simply radio silence… so, I lay there until sleep had found me, until it was time to get up and enjoy the day my family had planned for me.
