Veronica’s father had been calling her nonstop. She had decided to go meet her dad at his office instead of going home, where Margot would be. She had no interest in seeing that woman again unless she had to. “I’m glad my daughter came to my office to meet me,” Caleb mentioned the fact that Veronica never visited him in his office. He didn’t realize it was his own fault that his daughter never got to be involved with him and his business.
