Chapter 50 We Are Family

The men started attacking, right before Jon could answer. This time, Alaric didn’t fold his arms and watch; he joined Asher in killing the men, and they were doing it so effortlessly. Miguel couldn’t believe his eyes, they were just the two of them and a gazillion of their men, but not one of them had succeeded in landing a single blow on them. The dragon man was not only fighting but also stopping the sneak attack done on the wolf king. How could his senses be so strong that he could fight and stop the poisonous arrows? Jon already knew how the fight would end, and so while everyone was busy, he sneakily left the room. His wife and daughters were in the house, he knew that as long as he held onto the dragon ring, he could easily escape. He made his way to the elevator and went up to the rooftop where his helicopter was waiting. If he could successfully leave the house, his wife and children would be safe; he could already tell that the dragon man was tracking him with the ring, so if he could lure him out, then his family would be able to escape. As he made it to the rooftop, he signaled to the pilot to start the helicopter, but just then, two men appeared in front of him.
