Chapter 47 Clingy?

Alaric surprisingly settled well with the family and to their surprise, he was very fun to be with. Although Asher claimed to be wary of him, Naomi could see that he was loosening around him and they both sometimes were found sitting in the living room and talking. Mariah had had Alaric teleport her to the suite they shared in the human realm to get his clothes but only to discover that the room has been cleared, so they had left the room and walk into the hotel like normal people, demanding for their belongings and Mariah settled their outstanding bills. It had not been easy getting Asher to lend Alaric his clothes that first night. Now seeing how everything turned out, Mariah was happy that she didn’t have to lose her brother or her mate. Although their relationship is not yet the best of the best, but they were both trying or rather, Asher was trying since Alaric lived like they never once had an issue to begin with. It sometimes makes her laugh at his innocence and his way of easily letting things go. Seeing how he settled his issue with Asher, Mariah figured something that even Alaric didn’t know. She discovered that should Ramiel simply apologize to him, Alaric would definitely put everything behind him, it was the kind of person he was. He does not hold grudges when apology was given but he does not forgive if one was denied him. He is indeed a simple man and she was surprised to find out that she loved that about him.
