Chapter 11 The Day You Went Away

It was almost six in the morning, but her eyes were still wide open. She couldn't count how many messages she had sent to Brent, but not one of them had received a reply. Brent's cousin had woken up, so she cooked for her before she went back home. She also asked her to tell Brent to come to her house. She couldn't fight the sleepiness anymore, so she dozed off before 8 AM. She woke up just before noon and checked her phone again to see if there were any messages from Brent. Still nothing. She tried calling him again, but his phone was turned off.
