“He is nothing.” He shoved the topic off, leaning in, his body pressing hardly on me. “So what are we exactly? Do you still remember what we discussed yesterday?” He kissed my collarbone, trailing kisses down the crook of my neck until he stopped at my back. “I can't believe we slept naked and I didn't touch you. Damn, my chances…” “Shane, what do you want us to be?” I removed his hands from my waist and rose to the ground. “As your project manager, I say both of us are going to go late and it will be very obvious something is going on between us but as your girlfriend…” I stammered when I reached that point, the suspense clearly killing Shane. “Screw them and their thoughts, I am not leaving you at all.” I fell back in bed, ensuring he was out of crisis.
