Chapter 10 You Fall for That Woman
"I won't go to The Supreme Court. I won't divorce her."
Trey tossed the shredded paper in his hand overhead. A white rain immediately fell indoors.
"What?
"Don't tell me you've fallen for that woman!" Nathalie was so angry that she couldn't speak well and stood up abruptly.
"What about Emilee? Haven't you made up?
"She will soon return home. I plan to discuss your marriage with the Mayer family as soon as she gets back. Why do you think I want that woman to piss off so anxiously?"
Trey said coldly, "Who does she think she is? She can marry me if she wants, and she can leave as she pleases?
"The same goes for Kristen. She can marry me if she wants, and if she wants a divorce, will I have to play along?
"No woman can dominate my life.
"I will divorce Kristen, but not now. Leave it to me, Mom.
"And I want to take Kristen back to my villa."
Nathalie was stunned for a moment.
"I don't agree!"
"That's not going to change anything."
After saying this, Trey went to the kitchen and ordered some food to be cooked and sent upstairs.
Most of it was the food that Kristen liked.
Nathalie stood in situ and was furious because of Trey's words.
She thought, that vixen gets what she wants! The tricks she plays are indeed useful!
No wonder she can endure all the torture. She is waiting for today! She is so scheming!
An hour passed.
A maid brought the freshly made lunch upstairs.
More than ten dishes were placed on the table.
The maid said, "Mrs. Barrett, Mr. Barrett says that you may eat."
The maid had a better attitude.
Kristen nodded, sat at the table, and picked up the fork indifferently.
She had just taken a shower and changed into clean clothes.
It was just that her clothes were too plain to fit in with the luxurious decoration of the bedroom.
It was one of the few old clothes she had left.
After the maid left, Kristen filled a bowl of soup, took some food, and started to eat calmly.
Trey had just finished dealing with the urgent matter at hand. He pushed the door open and saw Kristen eating.
He was about to speak.
Kristen suddenly stood up and ran to the bathroom, beginning to vomit.
"Kristen, what is this now?"
Trey was very impatient and said sarcastically, "You began to pretend when you saw me at the door? You want sympathy?"
Kristen vomited for a while, washed up, and returned to eat again. However, she only ate the vegetables while staying away from the soup.
"It's only been a month. And you have a temper now? Are you throwing a tantrum, just because I scolded you?
"Look at yourself. Why are you eating vegetables only?"
Trey sat down and put a lot of meat onto Kristen's plate.
When Kristen saw the meat, she felt disgusted and wanted to vomit again.
Trey instantly became angry. He threw the fork in his hand to the ground and lifted the table. "Kristen, have you had enough?"
He was tolerant of Kristen enough. She shouldn't have pushed her luck!
Looking at the food on the ground, Kristen frowned. She also threw away her fork and turned to go downstairs.
"Come with me!"
Trey caught up with her impatiently and dragged her downstairs.
"Trey, let go of me. Where are you taking me?
"Trey!"
Seeing them leaving, Nathalie chased after them. "Trey, calm down. Where are you going? She is bad luck! She won't do you good! Trey..."
However, Kristen was still taken away from the Barrett's villa by Trey.
The car slowly left the Barrett's villa.
Kristen looked back and felt relieved.
Although she was sickened by Trey's bad attitude, after all, she was now out of the Barrett's villa. The first step had been taken.
Kristen glanced at the villa, and then withdrew her gaze and sat quietly in the back seat.
Nathalie tossed her phone away, and many of her things were burned. There was nothing to bring except the clothes she was wearing.
Trey was still angry. Seeing her expression, he suddenly remembered something and frowned.
He seemed to have known why Kristen vomited.
"Kristen, what happened just now, I..."
Trey suddenly realized that she wasn't acting. For a month, she only ate bread without any meat. Therefore, today's meal was too much for her.
Maybe he misunderstood her.
