Chapter 2 Unusual Abilities
Chen Song had a long dream where he followed a figure whose face he couldn't see, and acquired various skills.
Upon waking up, he rose from the ground and touched the back of his head, only to discover that the wound had miraculously healed.
Looking down at the jade pendant around his neck, a family heirloom given to him by his father, Chen was surprised to find it contained magical properties.
As he explored the villa, he realized that the two lovers had vanished.
"Yuan Ke'er, wait for me!"
With his daughter still waiting at the hospital, Chen Song had to abandon his search and rush to her side.
Returning to the ward half an hour later, he observed his daughter lying on the bed.
Closing his eyes, he visualized his daughter's condition and treatment plan in his mind.
Excited by the knowledge he had gained from the jade pendant, Chen Song began acupuncture treatment on his daughter, effectively addressing medical issues that modern medicine could not predict.
Amidst the commotion outside the ward, a group of people pushed a hospital bed inside, prompting Chen Song to focus on treating his daughter.
As the family members left the ward, Chen Song remained, administering acupuncture to his daughter.
"Why are you still here? The patient will be attended to by a doctor," Jiang Xueer urged.
"I am treating my daughter," Chen Song replied simply, continuing with the acupuncture.
Impressed by Chen Song's skill, Wu Minghe, a martial doctor, also began treating Jiang Xueer's grandfather.
Using the Nineteen Ghost Needles, Wu Minghe inserted nineteen silver needles into the old man, acknowledging the severity of his illness.
Meanwhile, Chen Song calmly finished the acupuncture for his daughter, showing confidence in her recovery.
After removing the needles, both Chen Song and Wu Minghe awaited the outcome of their treatments.
With a slight blush returning to his daughter's face, Chen Song smiled and ensured she was comfortable under the blanket, confident in her full recovery.
Suddenly, an alarm sounded as Mr. Jiang's vital signs began to decline.
Jiang Xueer's complexion turned pale as she grasped Wu Minghe's arm and inquired, "Doctor Wu, what's happening? Why does my grandfather appear to be deteriorating?"
Witnessing this, Wu Minghe let out a sigh and replied, "I'm sorry, Miss Jiang, I did everything I could."
"Don't just say you did your best, Doctor Wu, please consider another solution!" Jiang Xueer pleaded, almost on the verge of kneeling in front of Wu Minghe.
"Miss Jiang, I truly have no other alternatives," Wu Minghe responded with a troubled expression.
"He sustained heart and lung injuries in his youth, and it's truly remarkable that he has survived this long. Now, with his strength depleted, the situation is extremely challenging to treat," remarked Chen Song as he wiped the silver needles casually.
Instantly, all eyes turned towards him.
Wu Minghe noticed Chen Xiaoxiao on the bed and couldn't help but exclaim, "Oh? Your complexion has noticeably improved, and you are even capable of curing stubborn brain diseases?"
"It's just a minor ailment, a few more acupuncture sessions will suffice," Chen Song replied.
Listening to their conversation, Jiang Xueer's eyes lit up with hope. She hurried over, grabbed Chen Song's hand, and exclaimed excitedly, "You mentioned it's very challenging to cure, but you didn't say it's impossible. So, do you have a solution to cure my grandfather?"
Upon seeing her hopeful gaze, Chen Song did not disappoint her and nodded slowly.
"Miss Jiang, don't heed his words. How could he possibly cure illnesses?" a doctor behind them expressed concern.
Jiang Xueer gave him a cold stare and retorted, "Then why don't you give it a try?"
The doctor immediately retreated, not daring to speak again.
"Sir, please assist. As long as you can cure my grandfather, the Jiang family will fulfill any conditions you have!" Jiang Xueer pleaded.
After some consideration, Chen Song stated, "Twenty thousand!"
"No problem, I'll transfer it to you right away," Jiang Xueer took out her phone.
Chen Song waved his hand and instructed her, "Use the money to cover my daughter's hospitalization fees."
He then approached the sickbed and observed the old man lying there, barely clinging to life, unable to survive another hour without treatment.
"Young man, you must see the severity of Jiang Lao's condition. I'm intrigued to hear your treatment plan," Wu Minghe stood beside him and inquired.
Chen Song nodded and directly stated, "One needle locks in vitality, one needle stimulates potential. Although these two needles may have side effects, they can ultimately save his life."
"I comprehend the principle, I have also encountered it in the classics, but these two needles, ordinary individuals cannot perform it!" Wu Minghe expressed in confusion.
Locking in vitality, stimulating potential, this is not the method of ordinary acupuncture, it's not scientific!
"Perhaps I am not an ordinary individual, let me borrow your silver needle."
Chen Song did not elaborate much, simply uttered a sentence, reached out, and selected a silver needle from the needle bag between his fingers.
The first needle was inserted forcefully, piercing the old man's chest all the way to the hilt.
Such a lengthy needle, directly penetrating the chest, wouldn't it puncture the heart? Those who witnessed this scene couldn't help but feel their eyelids twitching.
The second needle, placed between the old man's eyebrows, was rotated and kneaded before being inserted, only an inch deep.
After the two needles were inserted, Chen Song remained composed, standing with his hands behind his back observing from the side.
"How is it?" Jiang Xue'er inquired anxiously.
"Wait!" Chen Song calmly uttered.
Half an hour swiftly passed, just as everyone's hearts were racing, the doctor beside them suddenly exclaimed excitedly.
"Mr. Jiang's vital signs have returned to normal!"
Jiang Xue'er covered her mouth, tears of joy streaming down her face, and everyone around her was filled with elation.
