Chapter 6 : Meeting the Enemy Again!
The sun rose in the east, and a red disk emerged from the horizon, dyeing the earth blood red.
Watching the figure of Beige disappear, the old man hesitated for a moment with a suspicious look on his face before speaking up:
"Young man, please wait!"
Hearing the voice, Beige stopped and turned around, looking at the old man. "Is there something else?"
The girl beside the old man was a little puzzled and whispered, "Grandpa, why are you calling him?"
The old man shook his head slightly, gesturing for his granddaughter to be quiet. Then he turned to Beige and asked, "Young man, how did you know that Xiaorou is practicing Yin Softness?"
Beige smiled faintly and said, "It's simple. Firstly, it's because of the Yin Softness aura emanating from her body."
"Secondly, her pale complexion with a hint of green and the faint bloodshot eyes are obvious signs of internal injuries caused by Yin energy."
"It's better for her not to practice it, or else her life will be in danger."
The girl, hearing this, frowned and said coldly, "What do you know? Nonsense!"
"I am a girl, and I naturally have a Yin body. As for the bloodshot eyes, it's because I didn't sleep well."
Beige chuckled and said, lowering his head, "I was just reminding you out of goodwill, and I have no other intentions. Whether you listen or not is up to you."
"Old man, sorry for the interruption." He slightly bowed, turned around, and left.
"Wait!"
Just as Beige took a few steps, he heard the girl's angry voice from behind.
Furrowing his brows, Beige stopped again and turned around, asking, "Is there something else?"
With a cold face, the girl said, "Where did this country bumpkin come from? He spouts nonsense and wants to leave?"
Beige's anger was ignited by her words, and his face turned cold as he said, "What do you want?"
"Apologize!" The girl said coldly, "Otherwise, I won't hesitate to teach you a lesson, you arrogant person."
"Just with you?" Beige's mouth curled up in a disdainful smile. "You're not qualified to make me apologize. Just for the sake of your grandfather, I'll say one more thing."
"Let me ask you, do you feel a piercing pain in your lungs like needles and accompanied by severe coughing when you wake up every morning? These symptoms usually last for about ten minutes before easing."
As soon as these words came out, the girl's face changed drastically, and she looked at Beige in shock, speechless for a moment.
Seeing her reaction, Beige no longer paid attention to the old man and his granddaughter. He turned around and walked away.
After a moment, the girl regained her senses and exclaimed, "Grandpa, he, he..."
"He is a master!" The old man looked at Beige's figure with a solemn expression.
"Xiaorou, in the future, don't speak so impulsively. There are many experts in this world, and you must learn to respect them, or else you'll easily make enemies and suffer."
The girl, feeling a bit rebellious, said, "A young man who is only a few years older than me, how great can he be?"
The old man shook his head slightly and said, "Xiaorou, you can't be so impulsive in the future. It's easy to suffer."
He bent down and picked up a leaf from the ground, handing it to the girl and said, "Take a look at this."
The girl took the leaf, looked at it, and said in surprise, "What's so special about it?"
The old man said, "Look at the cut on the leaf. Does it look like it was cut by a sharp blade?"
"Huh?" The girl was startled and quickly bent down to grab a handful of leaves from the ground. She found that all the leaves in her hand were cut in half by a sharp blade.
"Grandpa, how did these leaves become like this?"
"This is the leakage of true energy!" The old man looked at Beige's retreating figure and said in a deep voice, "That young man is extraordinary. When he threw a punch just now, his true energy leaked out, and the powerful force shattered these leaves."
"I am no match for this kind of strength."
The girl was shocked. It was only now that she realized how close she had come to offending a formidable expert.
Seeing the shock on his granddaughter's face, the old man sighed with regret. "Xiaorou, because of your unreasonable words, you missed an extraordinary master and a great opportunity!"
The girl's face showed a tinge of guilt and she said, "Grandpa, I was wrong. But is that person really an extraordinary master?"
The old man let out a long sigh and looked at his granddaughter with a doting expression. He pointed to the deep fist marks on the tree trunk and said, "Take a look at this, and then look behind the tree trunk."
Following his words, the girl walked to the back of the tree trunk and exclaimed, "My goodness, his punch actually pierced through such a thick tree trunk!"
In her eyes, the tree trunk was pierced through by Beige's powerful punch, creating a large hole.
The old man reached out and touched the tree trunk with his hand, saying, "You see, the power of this punch is something even I dare not directly face. I would die if I tried to withstand it."
The girl, hearing this, recalled Beige's earlier words about her physical symptoms and felt a chill down her spine.
"Grandpa, what should we do? Should we go after him and stop him?"
The old man shook his head and said, "Forget it! The world follows the law of fate. Since we've missed the chance, it's useless to chase after him."
"If we are destined, we will naturally meet again. Let's come back tomorrow and hope to encounter that extraordinary master."
On the other side, Beige left the park and bought three large bowls of porridge and buns at a breakfast shop on the street. He carried them and went to his mother and younger sister's room, only to find that they had already woken up.
"Brother, where did you go? I called you just now, but you didn't respond." Beiqing complained when she saw her brother.
Beige raised the breakfast in his hand and smiled, "I went out for a run just now and bought breakfast on the way."
"Xiaoqing, eat breakfast and go back to school. Mom and I will go back to the village."
"Okay." Beiqing naturally had no objections and nodded in agreement. She couldn't delay her studies any longer.
Beige first checked his mother Jiang Hui's condition, confirming that her illness had been completely suppressed by the true energy of the Heavenly Dao Art and would no longer spread or worsen.
This put Beige at ease. After having breakfast, the three of them checked out of the hotel and left.
Beiqing went to school, while Beige took his mother to the bus station, planning to take the bus home.
Liuye Village was just on the outskirts of the county, about three or four miles away, and a bus had been running there for many years.
Mother and son arrived at the bus station, ready to board the bus, when Beige suddenly heard the roar of a sports car engine coming from not far away.
His heart trembled, and he turned his head to see a face he would never forget in his life.
His father's killer was sitting in a red convertible sports car!
Wang Mingyang!
For the past three years, every time he had a nightmare, he would dream of that arrogant, arrogant, and unruly face.
He would never forget being pinned to the ground by Wang Mingyang's bodyguard and kicked mercilessly.
Wang Mingyang also saw Beige. The sports car let out a low growl and arrogantly blocked the bus.
"Oh, isn't this the murderer Beige? You're out so soon?"
Beige looked at Wang Mingyang with a cold gaze, and his eyes began to turn bloodshot.
Jiang Hui also saw him and panicked, saying to her son, "Beige, why is he here? Let's go, we can't afford to provoke him."
Upon hearing that Beige was a murderer, the people on the bus immediately voiced their opinions, urging him to get off the bus. Even the bus driver asked Beige to leave quickly and not delay his driving time.
Beige took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing his anger, and said to his mother, Jiang Hui, "Mom, you go back first. I'll handle this."
Jiang Hui, anxious, said, "Beige, don't act impulsively as soon as you come back, understand?"
"Yes, I understand." Beige responded and then got off the bus, walking towards Wang Mingyang.
"Wang Mingyang, if you have something to do, come at me. Don't block the bus."
