Chapter 20 Flame

To Red's eyes, the workshop was quite extraordinary as soon as they arrived. It was a square, three stories high, divided into two floors that could be seen from a distance. The walls were black-gold metal, and the entry was enormous, like a gate, guarded by four Troy. Kit had gotten a fantastic workshop, according to Red. It was just as the Metaphysics predicted: their lives would be secure once a team relied on Support. Kit could have some leisure for the next seven months as she awaited the winner of Savage Glory. Kit was standing next to Flame when Red and Phi entered the entrance. They were conducting a test run with the young man's refurbished weapon. The blue fire was erupting from Flame's wrist. As Red saw that, she was filled with dread and amazement. Anybody who came into contact with the flame would be quickly converted to ash.
