Chapter 2 Unfaithful Woman

Wilbur flew off the handle upon seeing this and blared the horn non-stop, and he even shone the high beam right at them. At that, the man turned around to smile triumphantly at Wilbur. By the time Wilbur got to his wife, Jane Walsch, the man had already driven off, leading Wilbur to point in that direction while snapping, "Who was that guy?" "My supervisor gave me a lift because he thinks it's not safe for me to come home alone when it's already this late. Why are you being so dramatic?" With that, Jane shot a disdainful glance at Wilbur and headed toward the stairs. "Do you think I am f*cking blind? You two were practically making out! You'd have taken him upstairs if I wasn't coming back, wouldn't you?!" Wilbur roared in anger. "Sure, whatever!" When he saw Jane heading upstairs, Wilbur hurriedly parked his electric motorcycle and chased after her, livid. Hence, as soon as she entered their apartment, Wilbur came in the next second. After locking the front door, he approached Jane and asked coldly, "You've slept with him, haven't you?" "I just told you that he gave me a lift because he thinks it's not safe for me to come home alone. Whatever! I'm tired. I'm going to bed," Jane said nonchalantly. However, just as she turned to the bedroom, Wilbur grabbed her right arm and pulled her back. "You're not going anywhere until you tell me exactly what's going on." From what had happened downstairs, even an idiot could tell that Jane was having an affair with her supervisor. No doubt they'd be humping when they were alone; after all, they already dared to make out in public! Jane flung Wilbur's hand away and stared at him with contempt. "Am I supposed to share your fate just because you're incompetent? If you keep at this, let's divorce." Wilbur sneered in response. "You're finally telling the truth now, eh? You want to divorce me so that you can marry him, don't you? As if you don't have a f*cking clue how I ended up like this today! It's no thanks to that useless brother of yours! If I hadn't purchased a batch of defects from him, I wouldn't have lost my position as a supervisor. I'd have long become a department's deputy director. How do you still have the f*cking nerve to bring this up?!" "Why can't I? He's my brother. Are you not supposed to help boost his sales performance? This only goes to show how incompetent you are!" Oh, how Wilbur wanted to give her a good slap. However, he still held back. He had done everything to help her family, but what was she doing? She was cuckolding him! No way was he going to let her off just like this, and he sure as hell wasn't going to let that b*stard off so easily! Right then, his desire to seek revenge began surging within him. At that, Wilbur nodded and sneered. "You're absolutely right; I'm incompetent. My parents didn't even dare to stay in the hospital when they were sick, saving up all the money so that we could afford a new place, but what did you do? You went and gave it all to your idiot brother to waste it away. I swear that I'm the biggest f*cking idiot in the world! However, I'm not going to divorce you so easily—not now, at the very least!" With that, he went into the guest bedroom and slammed the door shut. Similarly, Jane turned to the master bedroom behind her after that, furious. Inside the guest bedroom, Wilbur lay in bed after switching off all the lights and stared at the ceiling through the lights from the streetlamps outside the window. At that moment, he was devising plans for his revenge. At 10.00AM the next day, Wilbur rested his head on his desk in the office. He wanted to take a nap, for he hadn't slept well the night before. However, Serena caught him as she passed by when he had just closed his eyes a while ago. At that, he was called to her office. After entering the room with a yawn, he shut the door behind him. Meanwhile, Serena looked coldly at him. "Do you not realize you're at work? If you're so done with it, leave!" Wilbur was naturally pissed upon being scolded by Serena like this. However, he didn't have to fear her, for he now had leverage over her. "What if I don't want to?" He looked coldly at her. "Wilbur Leeds, do you think you're some big shot now? How dare you talk back to me?" Serena glared contemptuously at him. Wilbur sneered and grinned at her in response. He then sent her the recording from last night, leaving Serena with a pale face after watching the whole thing. "You were in the washroom last night?!" With that, he approached her with a grin. He then propped his hands on her desk while teasing mischievously, "I have to say, Miss Light, your body sure got me hooked!"
