Ariel’s POV I am now alone in the room, consumed in my own thoughts as I strolled toward the window side and leaned on it, admiring the outside. The sky was draped in soft indigo as the colors of sunset melted behind the treetops. I could hear faint murmurs of conversation drifting up from the gathering outside too, but up here, there was only silence as my mind was filled with worries.
