Peter returned to the pack, distracted and worried. He had lost track of Keshton as soon as the old healer spilled the beans that Sibyl had a friend who had brought her to have her eyes healed after the accident. The healer also revealed the address of this friend in the mountains. Keshton went alone, even though there was no certainty that Sibyl was with this friend. Peter wanted to follow, but Keshton had driven off alone, ordering him to return to the pack. Peter sighed, feeling hungry. It was already well into the night, and he hadn’t had lunch or dinner.
