"You will fucking regret that for the rest of your life!" he growled in my face. I stared at him with wide eyes, my lips slightly parted, as he yanked me out of the car. I screamed, unable to resist. His grip on my arm was so firm that struggling only caused me pain. Everyone's eyes fell upon Keshton dragging me while I screamed and tried to break free with all my strength, to no avail. That was when I heard gasps from the crowd then I realized it was because I wasn't wearing my glasses. The past trauma caused by my eye color stabbed at my composure, triggering a rush of horrifying recollections. My shield was gone. Instinctively, I pulled back my wolf eyes until my blind human eyes appeared once again. I had to hide my eyes.
