Liam's POV: At this point, my stillness turned a way in Scarlett's life, between the clashes of voices that had entered her being by some recent quake. I was unlike Sebastian; I was not showy or loud, but my support for Scarlett was, without fail, a steady pull to her through the surges of her independence. I understood slow talk, loud bursts of laughter followed by sluggish moments, a yearning for both walls and yards.
