Chapter 15 The Break Up

Sabastian's POV: Even as I lay in my luxury penthouse, the sudden slamming door ripped from its hinges reverberated through the whole edifice and disturbed me right to my core. The silence that followed might have clashed with the whirlpool confession that had tumbled out only moments ago. I was in solitude, and it was, for the first time after what felt like an age of existence, complete solitude. Suddenly, I stood in an eruption of feeling as if the walls of all that had been built around me, an active, powerful life, crumbled and left me gaping into the void of emptiness in that singular moment.
