Chapter 20

Fabian was humming as he walked into the building. His face was bright and open, without the usual furrowed brows his employees were accustomed to seeing. The employees’ faces showed their astonishment when they saw a small smile on his lips. They found it hard to believe that "The Beast," as they called him, was now smiling at every employee he passed by, humming a tune as if it were truly a wonderful day. Everyone was in awe as they witnessed, for the first time, Mr. Romano putting on even the slightest smile.
