Chapter 3
“Fabian, my man. Congratulations on your engagement!” Alfredo Zamora greeted Fabian as soon as they stepped off the stage. The two bumped fists.
Alfie and Fabian were college friends. Although they took different courses, they shared the same interest—women. Both were members of a sex club called the King’s Club. It was an exclusive club where all the members came from elite families. There were no restrictions in that club—any of your deepest desires and kinkiest fantasies could come true.
Once you were a member of that club, you could have sex with anyone, as long as there was consent. Threesomes, orgies, man-to-man—whatever you desired, you could experience it in that club. You could be whoever you wanted to be there.
“Thanks, man. I thought you weren’t going to make it tonight.”
“Of course, I wouldn’t miss this for the world. And thanks to this lovely lady for accompanying me here.” Alfie pointed to Gigi, who stood beside him. “This is Sugar, my date for tonight. Sugar, this is my friend, Fabian Romano, and this is his fiancée, Elvira McIntosh.”
Sugar was Gigi’s stage name at the strip club. She never gave her real name to customers—for her own privacy.
Fabian’s gaze lingered on the woman in front of him longer than it should have. For the first time in his thirty-six years on earth, he was looking at the most beautiful face he had ever seen. The word beautiful wasn’t enough to describe her—she looked unearthly. Her deep, expressive eyes were adorned with thick lashes. Her lips weren’t too thin or too full—just the perfect shape, begging to be devoured.
The woman wore a very revealing dress—a dark gray, glittery, high-slit halter dress that exposed her side boob and her entire back. The sheer fabric made her curves visible, with only nipple tape covering her peaks. Full and rounded—he was sure of that. Her hair was curled to the side, and her face was bare except for red lipstick, making her look like a true seductress.
“Hi, congratulations,” she offered her hand to Vira, and the woman gladly took it—completely oblivious to the way her fiancé was staring at the woman in front of them. She gave Vira a wide smile without even glancing at him.
Gigi couldn’t help but feel envious of the woman engaged to this wealthy businessman. What a lucky woman!
Fabian tilted his head slightly to get a better view of the woman’s side boob. The see-through dress revealed how firm and round her breasts were, and he was certain her nipples were perky too.
“Thank you, you look so stunning, dear, and so young.” Vira cast a knowing look at Alfie, as if she suspected something.
“C’mon, Vira. Don’t give me that look. Sugar is already in her twenties, right, love?” Alfie grabbed Gigi by the waist, pulling her closer to his chest. His large hands rested on her small waist.
For the first time, Fabian felt a strong urge to pull the woman away from his friend. He didn’t like the way Alfie possessively wrapped his arms around her. It irritated him. He hated it.
Damn!
This was raw and new. He had never felt jealous of his friend when it came to women. They had even shared Vira before—his friends had all had a taste of her, and he hadn’t cared. But with this woman, even though he barely knew her, he felt the overwhelming urge to possess her. He wanted her to be his—only his.
She was smiling from ear to ear, listening to Vira and Alfie bickering, completely unaware that he was right there, gawking at how breathtaking she was.
She looked so inviting and ravishing in that sexy dress. He had never been so easily attracted to a woman. He had grown up surrounded by beautiful women who threw themselves at him, yet this woman… He knew women like her. He knew his friend too well—most of Alfie’s dates were escorts, and this woman was probably one of them. He grimaced at the thought that Alfie had probably already had his way with her.
Are you fcking out of your mind? You don’t even know this woman, idiot!*
He wanted to punch himself.
Gigi arched a perfectly shaped brow at Fabian. She had noticed him stealing glances at her, sometimes outright staring. She shook her head at his behavior.
He had just gotten engaged, yet here he was, unable to take his eyes off her.
Men really were something else. Even when they were engaged to be married, they still found time to lust after other women. She could tell from the way he lingered his gaze on her—he was thinking dirty thoughts. She knew men too well not to notice the fire and lust burning in his eyes.
Gigi bit her lip. She had never seen a man this handsome before. Sure, she had plenty of good-looking customers, but this man had a different kind of allure. He looked so dominant in his three-piece suit. Alfie had mentioned that they were business partners.
“Yes, I just turned twenty last month. Age doesn’t really matter to me. Alfie and I get along so well,” she replied with a smile.
She had made a point to learn English because of her job. July, the strip club owner, had told her she needed to speak English fluently since most of their patrons were wealthy. She wouldn’t make good money if she couldn’t speak the language. Luckily, her siblings had helped her learn.
“See? I told you. And she’s the best.” Alfie winked at Gigi. “And why am I the one being grilled here?” he added with a laugh. He cleared his throat and raised his wine flute filled with champagne. “Everyone,” he called out, gaining the attention of the guests. “To the most adorable couple—Fabian and Vira. Congratulations!”
The guests raised their glasses in the air. Everyone was happy for the newly engaged couple.
For the rest of the party, Fabian stood beside Vira, but his attention was elsewhere—focused on the woman across the room. He had been keeping an eye on her, watching her every move, analyzing the way she spoke. He could easily tell what kind of woman she was.
No matter how expensive her dress was, she couldn’t hide her true nature. She might be wearing a glamorous gown, but her demeanor gave her away. Women like her couldn’t be trusted. They were the kind who would drain you dry until there was nothing left.
He despised women like that. They were leeches.
