“What stupid deal?!” I asked with creased brows, my eyes narrowing as I glared hard at him. I'm sure he must have threatened Ashley to change her words. I am sure he compelled her to say it. Even if Ashley denies that he is threatening and blackmailing her, her look told me otherwise. She can't disguise it. It's clear she's unhappy being with him. Furthermore, when I read her conversation with Mason during the truth or dare game, Mason's texts read more like a threat and an order. It was not romantic at all.
