Chapter 3 The Result

Levi Pov Sometimes being in a hotel room often feels more like home than my actual home did. It's been a while since I shared a bed with a woman for a whole night, hotel beds might I specify. The warm body tucked against mine rose and fell at a steady rhythm, in sync with her breathing. Mia. Even after tearing through the barrier the night before, I still couldn’t believe she had been chaste. It was a slap to the face, a girl who dressed like nothing other than a slut and did questionable social media stunts from time to time had never had a dick. Or maybe she had, just not in her cunt. I stroked her sides as I stayed still thinking. My father and mother would be over the moon at the new improvements. I hated myself thinking about it. I had only gone along with the entire thing because I was almost certain she was used goods and now, I had gone and taken the virginity. I had to pay for it somehow. My hands trailed down her front and gave it a gentle squeeze. They felt natural, very natural that I started to doubt that she had ever done the surgery social media journalists had accused her of. Her mother must be wondering what exactly happened to her. After all, the plan for yesterday was just a hymn confirmation and not a removal. I inched closer to the bed where she lay against a white pillow that had been smeared with more than half of her makeover. I frowned at the realization. I knew she wore makeup during the day, but at night when no one really gave a shit, why was she wearing makeup? And why the hell was it so much? She groaned softly and rolled over causing me to see her face. My heart plummeted. Whoever she was, she wasn’t Mia, but she looked so familiar. I wanted to slap her awake and shake her till the truth fell from her mouth but managed to rein my anger in. I knew it had to be too true to be good. Mia Weston parting her legs for me with her hymen intact could only be a joke. A joke shared by the entire family because they had to know what she was up to and sent a substitute who had managed to look convincing enough in the makeover under a dim light. Well jokes on them, I have plans on embarrassing the fuck out of their family after announcing our engagement. I do a quick work of adjusting her under the comforter so she looks like what we had been doing last night. Another thought tears through my head. Who the fuck was she and why would she lose her virginity in such fashion? How much was she fucking paid? I take a picture of her, in multiple poses and when I feel satisfied, I finish my dressing up and leave. As I pass by the reception, I tell the receptionist to have someone change the sheets quickly and wait till whatever time my companion leaves before she charges me and then calls my driver to come pick me up. The entire time we are riding home, I am seething with fury at the realization. I had taken away a virginity all right, but it was from a girl who I didn’t even know. The house was as silent as a graveyard when I arrived. What else was I expecting after living so long on my own? I dismissed the footman and asked the chef to make my coffee and have it delivered to me at the home office while I got started on some work. I knew I was going to have lunch with my parents and they were going to ask the next step, I just needed to make sure that I already had that planned out before I saw them. As I began to work, the chef came in with a hot cup of coffee and served me before I dismissed her. Unable to keep my curiosity at bay, I call Dandy. My private investigator who had filled me in on all of Mia’s atrocities that led me to believe that she could never be a virgin in the first place. Had I known, I would have gone along with my hunch. “Dandy.” “Mr Donovan. It’s good to hear from you so soon. I assume you have seen the lady.” Dandy was more than a private investigator, he was one of my oldest friends whom I could share some depressing secrets with. “I fucked her last night.” A pregnant silence ensued for a while before he broke it. “And?” “Tore her hymen. Felt the barrier, saw the blood this morning.” “Well shit, I can’t believe that.” I cursed under my breath. “Well, you shouldn’t, because the woman I had fucked wasn’t the Mia Weston I was told I was going to see.” “Shit, I didn’t see that coming.” And neither did I. “Look, I took pictures that I am going to send to you. I need you to confirm her identity and tell me all there is to know about her. I’m going to give the Westons a taste of the same pill they had me swallow.” As I spoke, I searched for the photos and sent them to him. “So you are calling the whole thing off.” “Fuck no. All I need you to do is find the whole dirt on this girl and get back to me soon. I’ll keep thinking of a good enough plan till the results return.” Dandy gave me his word in affirmation and we got off the call. I tried to focus on other things that had no business with last night but the feel of her body and the sound of her voice washed all over my head over and over again: My phone rang and the caller ID displayed my mother’s name. One of my staff had definitely tipped her off that I was back from my last night rendezvous. “Hello, mum.” Now I will have to break the news to her.
