Chapter 1 Strip

Rina Pov The keycard to the door felt heavy in my hand, all I needed to do was wave it against the door and kickstart the events that would forever change my life. It was easy when said, but to actually put it to work? As I stood outside frozen, events from the past few days flooded back into my brain. “You will be replacing your sister,” my mother said just as we were rounding up lunch that Tuesday. “Replacing Mia? What for?” On a beautifully normal day, I dare not question my adoptive parents but today they seemed rather desperate to get me to do something. They had taken lunch with me at the dining table, an event that only ever happened during Thanksgiving. Mother had even taken me for a full-body spa earlier that day. The weirdness of all the events caused me to harbor doubts about their true intentions. “Getting a medical checkup. Levi’s family are demanding a virginity test and Mia unfortunately doesn’t have hers intact anymore.” Mother winced as she spoke the words. Despite the oddness of the request, a sense of pride swelled in me. There was something where I was better at Mia? That was simply impossible. I looked up at my parents again who had hope filled in their eyes and gave a short nod. “I shall go to replace Mia, mother.” Mother shot out of her chair cheerfully clapping and then giving my father a hug before inhaling deeply. “Thank you so much, my child, thank you for keeping yourself chaste and saving us from this predicament.” She breathed. I wanted to ask her how she had known about my virginity, it was an information privy to only a few friends I had been able to make over the years. But her calling me ‘my child’ stripped me of my common sense. “We are counting on you, Rina. We really are. The future happiness of your sister, your father and I are in your palms now.” The words were meant to be a confidence boost but they felt more like a rope around my neck that had a heavy box attached to its ends. Over the next few days, my life from a neglected child had taken a three-sixty as my mother bought me new clothes, shoes, and everything that I would’ve required to play the part. Even though I knew the treatments would only last a few days. I reveled in it, enjoying every last bit of it till my time was up. My time is up now. All that was left to do was to walk into the room, get my virginity checked by the person stationed to do it, get the results, and return to a life where no one needed me to play Mia. Breaking myself free from the solid position I was in, I lifted the keycard in my hand and slowly brought it closer to the door. My heartbeats pump accelerated with every centimeter I covered and when the red light on the door turned green and the lock snapped undone, my heart sank to my stomach. Mother had told me exactly what to do once I arrived– Take my shoes off, ignore everyone in the room, and plop down on the bed. It is what Mia would do, that’s what she had said. I tried to shrug on my jacket of indifference and pushed the door open. Cold air blasted from the empty room and I heaved a grateful sigh. At least I don’t have to pretend not to see someone. The room was half dark as only the bedside was illuminated by a small blue lamp, creating an atmosphere that called for very carnal matings. The smell of male cologne filled my lungs as I took my shoes off. The smell was intoxicating and I already felt at ease with whoever was getting the job done, he smelt amazing and... The room suddenly quietened as the shower which I hadn’t noticed was running before, shut off. I hurried to the bed and plopped myself down not wanting whoever it was to see me standing, especially my face. I took great care with how my face moved. Mother had paid quite a fortune to have the artist paint my face in an eerily similar fashion to how Mia usually has it done. There were a few differences, but I doubted one could really take note of it under the soft blue light that illuminated the room. The bathroom door opened as a man stalked out naked. Without a care in the world and without a wrapper on his waist. My jaw dropped. “Mr... Levi.” What on earth was he doing here? Was I in the wrong room? His attention snapped toward me, finally realizing that he wasn’t alone in the room. Still, he doesn’t reach to cover himself and his impressively large dick. My eyes threatened to burn at the sight. “What on earth are you doing here?” “Plans changed Mia, your parents assured me over and over that you hadn’t been with a man and so I came here to do the check myself of course.” His voice sounded hostile, like he didn’t believe Mia would have never slept with a man. If you ever did walk into Mia on the road, you’d certainly know she knew her way around dicks, in whatever size, shape or color that would come in. I glanced around the room looking for the possible equipment he was going to use. Embarrassment washed over me at the thought of lying down on the bed and spreading my thighs for my future brother-in-law to poke and probe. “And how on earth are you planning on doing the test yourself when you aren’t a medical practitioner and have no equipment around?” I asked moving away from the bed as he approached. Levi shot me a grin that curved up his beautiful mouth. “I plan on checking it myself of course. With my dick.” I paled. “Come on Mia, we are to be engaged to marry in a few days. Once I return home with the bloody sheets, the marriage will happen even faster.. isn’t that what you wanted?” “We are counting on you, Rina. We really are. The future happiness of your sister...” I took a sharp inhale. “Your father would be elated as well. All we have to do is bloody the darn sheets.” He rubbed his forehead like he was tired already. I didn’t know so much about the Donovan’s but I knew that his parents had been pressuring him into a new marriage after the death of his first wife. The whole world had taken to bullying him for being ‘gay’ since he wasn’t remarried. His family feared that the scandal would rank their businesses and decided instead to marry him off to a girl from a respectable family to save face. “Alright Levi, let’s do this,” I said, pushing all doubts away from my head. Mother would kill me should she find out I had failed the one task she had given me. “Strip then, Mia.”
