Chapter 5 The Truth About Last Night

Sophia The soft golden rays of the morning sun seeped through the heavy curtains of the luxurious VIP suite, illuminating the room with a warmth that contrasted the soreness that clung to every inch of my body. My eyelids fluttered open slowly, my consciousness dragging itself from the depths of exhaustion, and the first thing I noticed was the lingering ache spreading through my muscles, a dull yet insistent reminder of the night before. My body felt foreign to me, as though it no longer belonged to me alone but had been marked, possessed, and reshaped in ways I couldn’t quite comprehend yet. A low groan escaped my lips as I attempted to shift, the mere act of moving sending sharp pangs through my tender flesh, making me wince in discomfort. My hands, trembling and weak, found their way to my face, fingers lightly grazing over my skin, where swollen spots throbbed in response to my touch. My neck felt tender, and as I traced my fingertips along it, I realized the skin was littered with marks—hickeys, dark and blooming like forbidden flowers, evidence of the passion that had consumed me only hours ago. The events of the night before were scattered in my mind, blurred by the overwhelming heat that had surged through my veins and robbed me of rational thought. My body had needed something—someone—and he had been there, the stranger whose name I didn’t even know, the man who had answered my silent cries for relief. A strange sense of security had settled over me in those moments, but now, as I turned my head slowly toward the other side of the bed, where I expected to find him still resting, a sudden chill wrapped around me. He was gone. My heart clenched painfully in my chest at the empty space beside me, the sheets cool to the touch, as though he had left long before I had even stirred awake. A part of me refused to acknowledge he wasn't here, and another part of me ached at his absence, a silent and desperate yearning that made my fingers clutch the fabric beneath me as though trying to hold onto something that had already slipped away. I wanted to cry. I wanted to scream, to demand why he had left me here, alone, after everything we had shared, but I didn’t. Crying wouldn’t change anything. Crying wouldn’t bring him back, and neither would it bring my virginity back. I forced myself to be strong, to push past the sudden emptiness spreading through me, because at the end of the day, what happened last night had been beyond my control, and whether he stayed or left had never been my decision to make. This was a VIP suite. No one would question why I was still here. I had time to gather myself, to heal, before returning to the real world, where I would once again be nothing more than a girl forced to exist in a house that had never felt like home. Summoning what little strength I had left, I slowly peeled the covers away from my aching body, forcing myself to sit up despite the way my muscles protested. Each movement sent fresh waves of discomfort coursing through me, but I refused to let it stop me. With slow, measured steps, I dragged myself toward the bathroom, my bare feet padding against the cold marble floor as I gripped the doorframe for support. Once inside, I turned the faucet, allowing warm water to fill the tub before slipping inside, sighing as the soothing heat wrapped around me, easing the soreness that clung to my limbs. My mind drifted as I rested my head against the edge of the tub, the steam curling around me in gentle swirls, and I let my eyes fall shut, trying to remember more of what had happened. Everything was a blur—flashes of intense sensations, his hands on my body, the way he had kissed me, claimed me, and consumed me completely. I could still feel him, as though his touch had been etched into my very skin, refusing to fade even now. But beyond that, there were gaps, spaces in my memory that I couldn’t fill, no matter how hard I tried. All I knew was that I had needed a man to take me, and he had been there, and now he was gone. After soaking in the water for what felt like forever, I finally forced myself to step out, wrapping a plush towel around me before making my way back to the bedroom, my gaze absentmindedly sweeping across the room. And then, my breath caught in my throat as I saw blood. A sharp gasp escaped me as my eyes landed on the stark crimson stain marring the pure white Italian sheets, the contrast so striking that it felt like a slap to the face. Did he see it? Did he know? The thought made my stomach twist painfully. Before I could dwell on it any further, a soft knock sounded at the door, snapping me out of my trance. I barely had time to react before a hotel staff member walked in, balancing a tray of breakfast in one hand and a small gift bag in the other. “We were told you can stay here as long as you like,” the woman said with a polite smile as she set the tray down, her expression unreadable. I could only stare at her, my mind struggling to process her words. I hadn’t asked to stay. Which meant someone else had arranged it for me. Was it him? He had left, but he had made sure I was taken care of. A strange warmth flickered in my chest, though I couldn’t quite understand why. I nodded, forcing a small smile in return, waiting until she left before hesitantly reaching for the bag, my fingers brushing against the gift bag. I didn’t open it. Somehow, I wasn’t ready. Later that day, once I had gathered the strength to return to work, I made my way through the hotel, determined to finish the cleaning I had been unable to complete the night before. But as I reached one of the corridors, my steps faltered when I heard voices. Panic gripped my chest as I recognized Sadie’s and Stella’s voices; they were desperately pleading. “You told us the girl was drugged, and she was supposed to clean this room,” a deep, unfamiliar voice sneered, filled with rage. “We were here, ready for her, and now you come here wanting to know if she showed up?” A sickening chill crawled up my spine. “She didn’t come, so let us go—please.” Stella’s voice trembled. The man laughed darkly. “She didn’t show, and now we have you two. Do you think we’d let you leave so easily?” Sadie whimpered, but there was no escape. "You are seven, at least maybe two of you, not all seven of you at once." “You wanted all seven of us to fuck the girl, so now all seven of us will take you instead.” I froze, horror consuming me as realization sank in. They had planned to have me violated by seven men. I stumbled back, my breath ragged, but I didn’t stay to listen. Their screams and moans echoed through the hall; I turned and ran. I ran as though my life depended on it. Perhaps, in some twisted way, I should be grateful that he had been the only one who had taken me instead of the others who had been waiting for me in that room, the ones who had expected a helpless girl to walk in, drugged and defenseless, unaware of the horrors that had been planned for her. A shudder ran down my spine at the thought, but I quickly shoved it aside.
