Chapter 7 Killian's Plan

"Care to take a walk?" Killian opened the door and asked Kimberly. Kimberly was not expecting him especially when he didn't bother to knock before opening the door. Kimberly remembered how she felt the last time she took a walk with him, she felt bad but had to decline the request. "I'm very tired I need to rest." Killian's facial expression changed, Kimberly noticed he was disappointed but there is nothing she can do about it. "I really need to get something from the market and it'll be boring going alone, you know I can't take the Alpha along with me even though he is the only friend I have here." Killian was trying to emotionally blackmail Kimberly to go take a walk with him. Kimberly felt bad because Killian and the Alpha have been nothing but nice to her and declining Killian's request might make her look ungrateful. Kimberly decided not to think too much about it and just accepted Killian's request to follow him to the market. She stood up from the bed and followed him. Killian had already arranged some spies around to fish out the people Kimberly always see each time they take a walk. Kimberly couldn't stop looking around while walking because she knew that there is no way her enemies will let her go just like that. "We have been walking around the market but you still haven't gotten anything, should we just head back home?" Kimberly said sounding scared, she felt the presence of her enemies. Kimberly looked around looking very scared, the moment Killian noticed this he gave one of his spy a signal to tell the rest that the enemies are around. "Why do you look scared? Is there anything wrong?" Killian pretended not to know the reason for her sudden change of character. "I have a feeling they are here." Kimberly said sounding very scared. Killian turned to look at one of his spies standing close to him though Kimberly wasn't aware. The spy shook his head to prove that the evil men were yet to be seen. "Your mind seems to be playing with you a lot, calm down, we'll soon head back home." Killian said to Kimberly trying to calm her so they can catch the evil men. Kimberly was still very scared and it was very obvious from the look on her face. Killian noticed his plan was not going to work until he tries the other step. "Please wait here, I'll be back immediately." Killian said to her and left before she was able to say a word. Kimberly couldn't stop looking around scared. She was wondering why Killian had refused to believe that there is really someone after her life. Kimberly suddenly remembered what Matt said while she was still on the run and she immediately felt chills around her. It felt as though Matt himself had come this time. Kimberly decided to head back to the palace, the only problem is that the way back home was still unclear to her. Kimberly took some steps backwards without looking back. She felt a masculine hand touch her shoulder and fear gripped her immediatly. She knew Matt would definitely find her because he promised her he will. Kimberly was too scared to turn back because Matt's face is enough trauma for her. "Are you okay?" Kimberly turned back the moment she heard the voice. "It's you?" Kimberly asked and placed her hand on her chest, she thought Matt had finally caught her. "Yes, why do you look so scared?" Killian asked her. He was wondering why the enemy did not show up in his absence, he sensed they might have found out he had a plan. *********** Matt was very angry because he was already very close to getting her when Killian arrived, he took some steps backwards and told his men to retreat. "I'll be back for you." Matt muttered to himself while looking at Kimberly. Then he headed back to where they are hiding. *********** Kimberly was very sure she felt the presence of Matt. She looked around again but didn't see him. "I have told you there is nothing to be afraid of, this is Alpha Damian's pack no one can hurt you." Killian tried convincing Kimberly. Though he had a plan he still felt the enemies would be too scared to hurt Kimberly. "He was here, he will not rest until he kills me." Kimberly said confidently. She was too sure he would not let her live because she remembered the countless promises he made to her while she was still on the run. Killian looked at the secret spy again, and there was still no sign of the enemy around. Killian was wondering who the person might be and he also realized the person is not just anyone he has to be really smart. "Enough okay, do not stress me with those damn lies of yours, did I and my master do anything wrong by welcoming you into our Pack? Or did we commit an offense by giving you shelter? If you know that you've overstayed your welcome you can kindly leave and stop bothering me with some dumb lies." Kimberly looked around and noticed everyone attention was glued to them. Kimberly has never felt so embarrassed in her life. It was an open humiliation and she could hear people whispering things to each other. Killian was working according to his plan, but he realizes he went too far this time, he shouldn't have shouted the way he did. "I…" Kimberly took some steps backwards. She was speechless and not ready to hear anything Killian has to say. "You shouldn't have helped me the first day." Kimberly said almost in a whisper as tears Welled down her eyes, she ran away from Killian's presence. "Please come back." Killian shouted but Kimberly did not reply neither did she return. Killian was left in a dilemma, he knew Alpha Damian would be unhappy to hear what happened. "What should I do now?" Killian asked himself while looking at the route Kimberly took.
