Once Mark and I were in the hallway, we stood staring at each other, and I noticed that his body was getting closer to mine. "Good morning," I said as I entered the living room and saw Mark and my little one already dressed and having breakfast. I sat in the chair next to her, poured myself some coffee, and looked at Harris, noticing how serious he looked. "Is everything okay, Mr. Harris?" I asked, smiling. "Yes, Sofia, well, I have to go do some things in my office for a moment. When I'm done, we'll leave and drop my daughter off at her daycare before going to the clinic.
