Shane stretched out his hand, prompting a crew member to pass him a bag swiftly. He casually tossed it onto the desk beside Seraphina, moved around her, hooked his foot under a nearby chair, and settled into it. Reclining, he propped his legs on the desk and crossed them like he owned the place. The class stared wide-eyed and confused. Why didn't Shane take action against Seraphina? We anticipated he'd either eject her or at least make a scene. Instead, he simply sat down beside her.
