The pounding bass of the club music vibrated through Natalie as she stepped inside, alone. It's something she hadn't done in her life. The few times she had been to a club was with Tiana. But today, Tiana had been unreachable almost all day and she had to ease up. Natalie had chosen her outfit with care, aware that a night out—even a solitary one—demanded a certain style.
