Chapter 4 Life As Their Maid

' So everything was a bet' I thought within me and chuckled sadly, while Jessica, just rolled her eyes, and huffed, at my situation, before shoving me aside roughly, and walking out of the restroom. I remembered staying in that restroom, for a few more minutes, trying to convince myself, I was not sad, but deep down,I knew I was lying. My wolf did not react from pain this time, it was like she expected it, or knew, and expected me to have known too, or guessed. Now, that, I really put my mind and thought about it, those two really played me, like a big fool, and knowing, I fell for it, was the most painful part. Now, back to the triplet, I have almost lost my jobs more than 3 times now, and almost gotten into trouble at school, or landed into detention, more than 5 times now, because I am always running their stupid errands for them. Recently, they broke my last straw of patience, and made me lose my only source of earning. It was on a cold, freezing like hell, night, I was on late shift, because my other partner, unfortunately could not make it, because she had surprisingly, caught a flu, so I was to fill in for her, till the next 5 hours, then go home, and have, a, long, and satisfying rest, but, unfortunately for me and thanks to the triplet, my plans were all ruined, and as bonus, I lost my job. I was cleaning the used plates and cups, Customers made use of, when they patronized this place. I was even,in a good mood then, because, I had just left the hospital,my mum was in, not few hours ago, and the doctor told me, I should be rest assured, for she was getting better. I was humming a song, when I just heard my cell phone ring, I stopped what I was doing, picked up my phone and glanced at the ID, to know who the caller was, but found an unfamiliar number instead. I should have known, and just ignored the call, and not picked, but whosoever the caller was, was persisting, with calls, so I decided to pick, and find out who it was. I also thought of a possibility, it might be the doctor, who was treating my mum in the hospital, and hurriedly answered the call. I was greeted with a cold tone, which I felt familiar with instantly. It was Ethan. He told me to come and make dinner for them, for their servants were on holiday. I was gobsmacked, for those brats, even had servants, who served them, and yet, they still called me to their mansion every morning, to prepare breakfast for them. I tried explaining to Ethan, I was at my Job, on a late shift, and could not leave for a couple of hours. I thought, he was the reasonable one amongst them, but how wrong was I?. He ignored my explanation, and demanded I come instantly, and reminding me, I had no choice but to. I had to abandon my work half done, and hurry to their house, to prepare them dinner. I dashed in, into their mansion, met them all in their extravagant living room, all, sited and watching a movie or so. I did not bother to check, and just dashed into the Kitchen, to prepare them, a quick dinner, leave and return back to my work, before, my boss, could notice, I was gone. While I was hurriedly trying to prepare them noodles, for it was the quickest meal at the moment. Besides, you don't eat heavy late at night, or you start to feel uncomfortable seriously. The triplets walked into the kitchen one by one, and surprisingly,my heart was pounding fast, from excitement. ' Now, this is weird' I thought, while trying to ignore their presence, and hurriedly finish up, so I can dash back to work, before my boos ever finds out,I was gone. ' Why was I feeling excitement?' I wondered. " Do not tell me, you expect us, to eat such Junk" I heard Reese say from behind me, and turned to look at him, he was pointing towards the empty noddles pack in my hands. " Noodles is not a junk food" I corrected him, and he rolled his eyes, still pointing to the pack. " Whatever" He commented. " I just hope you are not expecting us to eat that" He added. ' Ofcourse dummy, whatelse would I have made it for?'' I wondered. " Well, this is the only option available now" I began. " I plead you sirs to please manage it" I told them, with a slight bow, and Kaden scoffed. " How is noodles the only option?" He asked. " There are plenty of foods and ingredients available, so do not lie to us" He added, and I clenched in fists in frustration. " I was not referring to that, sir" I told them. " The timing you guys called me, few minutes ago, was pretty too late, besides, I was at my job, and had to sneak out, to come here, and hurriedly prepare dinner for you all, before, I sneak back to my job once again, and pray hopefully, my boss would not find out" I explained, and atleast, expected some understandings from them. They stared at each other, with cold expressions written all over their faces. " And how is that our concern?" Reese asked with a sneer, and I reared back in shock. Do they not know, how important, my job is to me, besides, I knew they were all heartless, but never expected it, to be, to this extent. Do they realize that it was my job we are talking about? I'll be rendered homeless if I'm not able to work and pay out rents and other pending bills that really makes me want to weep. " You broke a treasured Icon, and is merely paying for it, so it's non of our business, whether you are at a Job, or at home, when we call. Our business, is you coming immediately to serve us, when we request your services Kaden reminded me and I gasped, not knowing what to say. I was left speechless, but honestly what was I expecting from the spoilt brats? They've lived all their lives enjoying and living in luxury. I drew a long breath before speaking. " But the timing is still not right, very late, at night, I have my own life too" I reminded them, and turned to see Ethan, looking at me quietly. He had not said a word since. That was definitely a cause for alarm but I tried to overlook it. " Well, you would not be in this situation, if you had just watched, where you were going the last time " Reese commented with a grin. " There is a simple solution for all these" Ethan suddenly spoke, after being silent the entire time. My heart skipped a beat, what has he been sparing for this moment? But I picked up couraged and asked him, " What is the solution?" I asked, hoping it would be a reasonable one, and not even a more difficult one. " Quit your job, and move in with us then you can work better as out servant. Problem solved." He replied, and I could feel my Jaw, drop from shock. ' Did I hear him right?' I wondered, and turn to stare at him,only to find his eyes, fully fixated on me, not just his, the remaining brothers had their eyes pericing deep into me at that moment, I felt trapped.
