Monica paced around in the cell room, fuming with anger. She could still not believe what had happened. What Daniel had done was still a shock to her. She was certain that he meant his words when he said he had feelings for her, so why did he suddenly accuse her to save himself from his brother’s wrath? What sort of love is that? Not like she was interested in him for one day, but isn’t love supposed to be selfless? What he had done back there was completely selfish. Now even if she had intentions of being just friends with him, she had changed her mind, she could never be friends with such a coward and liar.
