Enzo walked up to the bedside table and dropped the tray gently before standing with his hands in his pocket and staring at Gabriella sleeping. He leaned closer and tucked a strand of hair on her face behind her ear. Her body trembled underneath his touch, he paused wondering if he had woken her up but Gabriella remained deeply asleep, her breaths even and slow, showing no signs of waking.
