The minute the final whistle was blown, the Wolves emerged as the emerging winners. I screamed along with Maddie, Sofie, and Oliver, cheering on the boys. I cheered mostly on Hayden; he did really great today. I looked over to where he was and saw him racing out of the field, making his way to the stand while the rest of his teammates kept cheering. I felt immense pride in me when I watched him play; it really proved the reason why he was the quarterback and captain of his team. I saw him take off his helmet and throw it over to Oliver. He spread his hands wide, and I wasted no time jumping into his arms, embracing his warmth. I let out a squeal when he swung me around. When he dropped me back on the ground, he didn't give me a moment to catch my breath before pressing his lips on mine in a very passionate kiss.
