Chapter 52 Crushed Down

The sound of my alarm ringing was what woke me up from my six hours of sleep. I screamed into my pillow in frustration, grabbing a hold of my alarm clock and throwing it across the room. I stretched my hand to the other side of the bed, where Hayden was supposed to be, to find it empty. It was still warm, which meant it hadn't been long since he left. I was about to fall asleep when my bedroom door slammed open. I was surprised; I remembered locking it earlier this morning when Hayden had sneaked in.
