Chapter 8

Good heavens, the unsettling doctor had made off with her clothes. Now there was one more thing she was going to report him for when she went to the police. Since she was bereft of her own clothes and in dire need of a bubble bath, she had no choice but to borrow one of Merline's outfits. The only hitch was, her clothes were strictly off-limits to Roselle, and if Merline saw her wearing anything that belonged to her, she would have a fit. However, they had sort of reached an agreement that Roselle could borrow any of Merline's outfits as long as they were a year old and only those which were bought from local brands. The high-end brands like Prada and others were strictly off-limits; Roselle wasn't allowed to keep any; Merline cherished her clothes, shoes, and accessories more than she cherished Roselle.
