Chapter 10 Being Set Up By Bianca
Jayden furrowed his brows, his gaze falling on Carol. He watched her struggle to carry her suitcase, unsure of her destination.
Suddenly, a pang of guilt struck his heart.
Upon discovering that Carol was his nephew's ex-girlfriend, he blocked her number, intending to sever ties with her.
Unexpectedly, on his way back from work, he saw Carol here.
In reality, it was David who had wronged her. Carol was simply a deceived young girl. There was no need for him to vent his anger at her.
Even if they had accidentally gotten married, it was time to end their relationship amicably.
While Carol struggled with her suitcase, a strong hand suddenly appeared, relieving her of the burden.
She looked up and saw Jayden's slightly cold yet handsome face.
"Jayden?" Carol asked in surprise. "How did you know I was here?"
"Where are you going?" Jayden asked.
Carol pointed to the apartment building on the hilltop and said, "There. I just rented a house up there."
Jayden lifted the suitcase.
Suddenly, the lock on the suitcase clicked open, and everything spilled out onto the floor. Clothes and other items were scattered everywhere.
Jingling sounds could be heard as a golden copper ball rolled down the stairs, bouncing from one floor to the next.
Carol was dumbfounded by the scattered items on the floor.
Delicate and alluring camisoles, lace thongs, bralettes the size of three fingers, fishnet stockings, and some unsightly little toys mingled among her underwear…
What on earth was all this?
Except for Carol's regular underwear, none of these items belonged to her. How did they end up in her suitcase?
Suddenly, Carol recalled Bianca's mysterious and excited smile just moments ago, as if everything had fallen into place.
She was being set up by Bianca!
Jayden's gaze dropped to the ground. His eyes darkened with intensity.
She prepared so many indecent things. Was it an attempt to seduce him and make him a father?
A coldness flashed in his eyes, and his handsome face tensed.
As the atmosphere around them grew heavy, Carol's face turned red, from her neck to her ears, almost as if flames were about to ignite.
As passersby glanced at the ground, they exchanged knowing smiles and whispered to each other, "Young people these days really know how to have fun."
Carol hurriedly rushed forward to pick up the items and hastily stuffed them into the suitcase.
After a while, Carol finally managed to pack everything properly. At that moment, Jayden handed her a collar with a cold expression and said, "Your belongings."
Carol was speechless and felt utterly ashamed.
Would Jayden assume these items were meant for their honeymoon?
Carol wanted to cover her face, and she burst into tears. These were all stuffed by Bianca without her consent. She felt incredibly wronged.
She squatted down and hastily packed the items into the suitcase. "No, it's not... listen to me…"
"Let's go." Jayden had picked up the suitcase and walked away.
Well, I took the blame for this.
As Carol watched Jayden's tall figure, tears welled up in her eyes. She lowered her head and followed behind him. In the meantime, she had to keep a close eye on the suitcase to prevent another spill.
Angry and frustrated, she took out her phone and sent a message to Bianca, questioning her actions.
"Bianca, what did you put in my suitcase?!"
