Jennie Wilson POV Maniac!!! Suddenly it reminded me of someone… I don't know why but my heart was beating heavily like it was sensing the danger. I still can't forget the horror that had marred my brain. “ Jennie...oh Jennie?” Lisa shook me, bringing me out of my stupor. “Huh? What....” I came back to my consciousness. “ Please pretty please stay with me, I am all alone, father is forcing me to stay in my cousin's apartment because he's afraid that I will stay all alone in a big house. I don’t want to be with my cousin though...” She whined. “ Well I kinda agree.....first Rosé is all alone, second I can live free of cost, no hostel fees, no hostel restrictions or homes. Done I am in!” Lisa thumbed up. “Yay.... Jennie..!?” Rosé and Lisa showed their puppy eyes. “Nope, no, not at all...I don’t want to live without my parents. I can’t do it” I shook my head. “Here we go.....you are not a kindergarten kid Jennie you are f***ing 18 idiot! ” Lisa smacked my shoulders. “ I need to think , I need my parents opinion too” I said, biting my lip. Rosé and Lisa sighed. “ Ok then let’s meet my cousin, he studies here too. He is 2 years older than me...so he is our Senior..” she chirped. “You said your brother is a maniac...” Lisa said sarcastically. “ Oh come on, I just want to introduce you both to him...” She pulled us by interlocking our hands with hers. We walked towards, I don't know where but it looked like we were going towards a canteen. My eyes fall onto the huge hall. Even the canteen looked upscaled and lavish. Why does everything scream rich here? Rosé waved at somebody. “ Hey cousin.... I am here! Look whom I brought with me!” The person who had back-faced us had very broad shoulders, I could almost surf on it. He however didn't turn back and was busy talking. " This person, he always ignores me! Excuse me, he's deaf in ears. " Rosé rolled her eyes. “HEY LOSER!” She screamed, gathering almost everyone's attention. Finally he turned. Woah.... God man.......my mouth dropped. An electric current zapped through my spine. He started advancing towards us and his magnetic glare wasn't on Rosé but was piercing through me. I stepped back a little little scared, but Rosé grabbed my arm and dragged me towards him. “ Jennie, Lisa, meet my cousin Xavier!” She squealed, looking back and forth at us with an expectant. Wow he was so charming...and he is tall, maybe 6’2. He looked like a Greek God. Everything about him was perfect and masculine. His face, his nose, his lips, everything. He wore a black skin tight half sleeved shirt with two collar buttons opened and a black jeans with black belt. You can see the muscle popping out from his half sleeve and his muscular chest from his opened buttons. Girls dreamed of such boys including me too....but I get nervous easily when I am around them. Handsome men. No wonder I was shaking when he was coming towards us plus he was glaring at me continuously as if I was a specimen. I involuntarily stepped back as he almost towered above us. God, we looked so tiny in front him. He gave me and Lisa a weak smile and he put forward his hand for a handshake. “ Pleasure meeting you Jennie.......and Lisa.” He let out a practiced smile. His eyes weren't leaving mine though. It wasn't a fascinating or adorning one. It was as if I had wronged him some or the other way. Like he has met me before. But it's my first time meeting him though. Why does every man I meet always give me these eerie feelings? “ Bro...they are going to be my roommates..” Rosé jumped happily. “Oh really!” He cocked his eyebrows and glared at me. “No...not me...” I shuttered, flushed by his gaze. “Well bro where are others....your girlfriend..?” Rosé said with excitement. What!? He has a girlfriend…? Well why not? Any girl would die for him. I looked at Lisa and she looked sad, pouting her lips as she heard Rosé's words. Don't tell me she had plans on hitting this man. “Uh that... she is not well, she isn’t here..and others I don’t know.” He shrugged his shoulders. “ Hmm never mind....” Rosé said disappointed. “Rosé we are getting late.....meet you next week ya..” Lisa pat Rosé’s shoulder. “Hmm...ok..meet you soon and you Jennie please convince your parents” she hugged me. “I’ll try, not promising anything..” I sighed. We left the University. Lisa dropped me to my home and I waved her a goodbye. It was a tiring day.... It’s been 5 days....since admission. Another 2 days to go.... I felt like someone was glaring at me.... I turned but I found no one...everybody looked busy sipping their coffees, and some people were walking around. Easy Jennie, nothing’s going to happen. Lisa and her mom are here only.... *After few hours* “Let me drop you....it’s dark already..” Lisa said. “ Father told me to bring some medicines for my mom, I need some things too..you can go it will be late for you..” I tapped her back. “ Okay... Did you ask your parents about the house?” Lisa asked. “Why should I, it’s decided already, I am not coming” I rolled my eyes. “ Oh come on, Jennie please I can’t live there alone, besides I need my bestie out there” Lisa said showing puppy eyes. “ I’ll try asking them..” I sighed. “ Okay then see you tomorrow” Lisa hugged me. I waved her goodbye. I bought some medicines and some household stuff from the stationary shop. I started walking down the streets.. I walked quickly feeling my skin prickle with the feeling of being watched, that was one of the reasons I didn’t like the dark. This certain paranoia that I was being watched was unavoidable. I started walking a bit faster once I heard gravel crunching behind me, my heart rate picking with fear.
