Chapter 141 The Dark

Elena's POV: I wanted to show Derek something and was so excited about it. I knew he would be occupied in his room since that was where he worked most of the time. And I barely saw him unless he wanted to ask me questions or just wanted me to solve a problem. I gave him my best shot and was glad to have impressed him in many ways. It was almost like he wasn't expecting me to know up to what I knew. Some ideas I gave stunned him. I realized that he always cocked a brow whenever he was stunned, just like when he was either confused or curious. I'd admit it looked so attractive and masculine on him. I descended the stairs missing the scent of jasmine, cinnamon, and lemon, so I walked to the living room and nearly passed out with what I saw next.
