Chapter 8 Jealousy Man

It had been 3 days since the practice for self-defense started. Izara and Estelle were quick-witted and learned so quickly. Estelle was loosening her hand band while Izara was still practicing with Martin. “Let it pass for a while, lza. I'm tired already.” Martin huffed. “Yeah, me as well.” Izara agreed. They both fell on each other on the floor and huffed. Estella walked toward them and joined them. Those trio giggled while rolling on the floor. They had no idea of being watched by someone “They seem to be closer to each other than I thought.” Anton patted the person next to him who was already on the verge of breaking someone's bone. “Jealousy...” Anton teased that person. “I'm not!!” Devon exclaimed as Anton chuckled hard. Love with someone mysterious or tight-lipped is more thrilling than anything. Devon was watching at his girl through the glass wall as she was sitting with them and talking something “So, what are you planning for tomorrow? After all, it is a holiday.” Izara Schmitz asked. “Nothing more, just roaming around the city maybe. What about you all?” Marin asked back. “All?” Estelle was confused. “Of course, your hubbies.” Martin said with a teasing tone as Estella pouted. Izara rolled her eyes showing she didn't really want to bring about the topic of their so-called hubbies. “What happened?” Martin asked, seeing Estelle's reaction. “He wasn't replying to my message at all. I'm gonna punish him for sure.” Estella made a devilish face. Izara zoned out as always. They weren't giving any damn about their Conversation. “Where? In the bed...” Martin went to the extent. Estella raised her brows and a hard smack landed on his head. He started to sulk again. Izara came back down to earth and tried to calm both of their nasty conversations. “You need a good punch, don't you Martin?” Estelle balled her fist. “Come on. Can't you two just shut your mouth for a while...” Izara Schmitz was irritated too much as Martin could feel something was off with her. “What's wrong with you?” Martin asked, not liking the fact that Izara was not in the mood to joke around. “Nothing. Why are you changing the conversation?” Izara asked. “Nothing, just found that you are being distracted by something” Martin started to interrogate her like a criminal. She was upset as well and didn't know how to reply to the plenty of messages Devon sent. “You must be paranoid, Martin. Check your eyes.”Izara rolled her eyes. “You two should check your brain. Being weird all the time, you guys giving me creepy feelings.” Martin teased as Izara claimed the top of Martin and started to punch him playfully. Estella was enjoying their cute time but someone was already burning in anger. Suddenly Izara's phone rang but they didn't stop the fight at all. She was so happy with Martin why not with Devon? “How dare you be so intimate with him, Izara? You are being so naughty, aren't you?” Devon clenched his mobile. It was already the fifth time Devon was calling her but none got the attention of the mobile which was screaming its lungs out for a long time. “A wild cat should be tamed and I will do that soon as well.” Devon tugged his mobile back in his pants and walked out of the room. “Such a jealousy àss,” Anton thought. A small amount of light was passing through the closed curtains. The birds chirping sound from the garden was an audible yet mild one. Izara was trying her best to sleep while her mind was playing a hard game with her, giving a painful flashback of her last life. Hearing so many voices around her ears and also the pain in her heart, and stomach, it was like she was in hell. She wheezed and opened her eyes which were showing traces of silvery tears and once again her breath hitched when she felt someone in her room. She sits straight on the bed without making noise since she knew who that person was. “Wh… What are you doing here?” Izara made a messy bun and got up from the bed adjusting her night dress and then arranging the quilt neatly. That person didn't say anything. But he walked towards the window and opened the curtains. Izara was irritated as well as the palpitations are still sticking in her heart making it go crazy. “Do you know what time it is? 10 am in the morning. I thought you were an early bird.” Devon mocked her. “Not your concern if I woke up late,” Izara said, stepping towards the washroom. She did her morning routine and walked out after 10 minutes. Devon was still in her room waiting for her arrival. Izara was not in the condition to face her handsome lover. Being weak was not what she wanted, yet it always happened in front of him. “I'm gonna take a bath, can you leave, Mr Devon?” She had no courage to make eye contact with him. “Mr Devon!!” He scoffed as she flinched hard. This man is a big deal, how could just his scoff make her tremble? She took a deep breath. Devon walked towards her and pulled her in his embrace by the waist, she was shocked as hell, trying her best to break from his strong grip. “Until you fell into a coma, everything was quite normal but after that, you changed so much. What got into you, Izara And why didn't you call me back yesterday? I have called you several times, haven't I?” Devon asked. “What's the point of talking? You threatened me with my sister for marriage. How am I supposed to be nice to you?” Izara once again struggled. “Did I make any move? you just started it, Damn!!” Devon shouted at her as she started to tremble even more. The welded tears found their way down to her cheeks as Devon released her from his grip. Pulling up his hair, his other hand finds its way to his temple. He took a deep breath and looked at the pitiful girl who was trying her best to not whimper. He was not the kind of person who would shout at anyone. Of course, he was scary but it was his first time shouting at her. “Pick up my call and reply to my messages in the future. And don't be so close with that boy Martin.” Devon sternly said and walked out. She was standing there clueless and also his words were so intimidating. Izara fell to her knees and finally gave up because of his aura.
