I finished my bacon and started to clean up the kitchen. I worked quickly, but I kept thinking about what we'd done and what lay in store. There's no way we could tell Mom and Dad... Then it hit me. Mom and Dad weren't here. And Jessica didn't seem like she was asking me to take her. No, she was planning on going out by herself!
Ever since she was able to drive we've been very careful about her going out by herself. If she had an attack while driving we knew she had the sense to pull over to the shoulder but it would make getting to her that much harder. That's why one of us usually went with her. Mom's or Dad's presence was usually able to keep an attack from happening or getting worse but only mine was able to stop it.
