"Thank you." Maya muttered to the driver before closing the door behind her gently, she watched as the car zoomed off into the distance, leaving behind a thick dust cloud in its wake. Maya took one last look at the empty street before turning and making a beeline for her apartment complex. It was late into the night and she secretly hoped that Gab would not be at home.
