Chapter 31 With All Pleasure

SCARLETT. The room was lit up with low hanging crystal chandeliers and built-in bulbs. The tables were clean and a few were occupied by patrons. The empty ones had two champagne flutes on either side, squeaky clean and glinting under the lights. Ivory colored napkins were neatly folded into the cups and the table was covered in navy blue taffeta material, laced with silver and gold thread.
