When I awoke the bed beside me was empty again. I looked at the bed and saw the mess I had made last night. I got up and changed the sheets and put on fresh ones. I wondered if I would get to sleep with her again tonight. Then I went and showered and then dressed. I felt like I was walking on clouds as I went downstairs... that I was in a perpetual dream state. I knew that if it was a dream I didn't want to walk up.
