The next week was kind of weird. My boyfriend took some shifts at work again, which I admit made me a little nervous at first. But Monica seemed to act mostly indifferent towards him. Instead, she continued to spend all her spare moments with me! It was a surreal experience to look over and see his puzzled looks as the two of us giggled quietly together.
